"Tropical Cyclone #9 aka HELENE The current NHC forecasted Track and movement has it more West of Cuba into Gulf of Mexico! I believe the current track maybe too far West and will be more over NW Cuba area bringing it closer to coastal FL Peninsula as it develops into a Hurricane off West coast of SW Florida. Upper Level High Pressure and Northerly Wind Flow aloft will assist in pushing this developing Hurricane into Northern FL Panhandle by Friday! An Upper level trough approaches by Saturday and could increase forward movement into Southeastern Ga by Saturday evening! This Tropical System has not been named as of Monday Morning 24 September 2024! It has not reached Tropical Storm strength as of this morning! However this will be the next major Tropical Cyclone to again directly hit Northern Florida Panhandle by end of week! Be prepared early! No excuse! Be Safe! This is Leo's Tropical Forecast for Monday morning. Please always refer to N.H.C Watches and Warnings. Leo Viechec, USN RET NEC 7412 Forecaster
